CDL-A Internal Fleet Driver — Starbase, TX

Our company needs a CDL-A driver to move flight hardware, tooling, and fabrication items between its Starbase sites in Texas. You'll handle loading, transport, and unloading for internal site-to-site runs.

What you'll do

• Load and unload trucks at pickup and drop-off points, making sure cargo is secured so it arrives undamaged

• Drive between our company's Starbase locations following all road safety rules

• Scan barcodes to meet warehouse management system tracking needs

• Check delivery paperwork for accuracy on items and drop-off locations, and keep that paperwork in good condition throughout the trip

• Watch the truck's service status while driving and flag any issues to your manager right away

• Keep your vehicle clean and fueled up

• Call your supervisor with full details if an emergency comes up

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years of professional commercial driving experience

• At least 1 year of professional forklift experience

• Valid CDL Class A license

• Clean DMV record

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs without help

• Comfortable with lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying as part of the job

Nice to have

• Experience on a counter-balance sit-down forklift

• Heavy-haul or material handling experience with vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVW

• Background driving in a high-volume manufacturing setting

• Strong organization, time management, and teamwork skills

• Solid customer-service track record

• CDL Hazmat endorsement

• CDL Tanker endorsement
