CDL-A Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, 50% of Gross Revenue

This is a home-daily intermodal container position based out of Matteson, IL, running regional freight Monday through Friday with optional weekend work in the local Chicago area. It's set up as a 1099 contractor role with a dedicated truck.

Pay

• You keep 50% of the truck's gross revenue, and you're responsible for 50% of the fuel cost.

• Typical take-home lands around $1,350-$1,650 a week, though the posted range runs $1,300.00-$1,650.00 per week.

• Picking up optional weekend runs gives you a chance to push your earnings higher.

• Orientation and the road evaluation are paid.

Home time

• You're back home every day - no over-the-road trips.

• The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekend work available if you want it (not mandatory).

What you'll haul

• Intermodal container freight, with a steady, consistent load of work.

• You'll run out of a dedicated truck parked in Matteson, IL.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.

• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience.

• Prior experience hauling intermodal/container freight.

• Clean, safe driving history that satisfies carrier and insurance standards.

• Reliable, on-time, and comfortable working without close supervision.

• Regional driving background is a plus.

• Willingness to properly maintain and care for your assigned truck.

Ideal candidates live in or near Chicago, the south suburbs, or nearby areas and can get to the truck in Matteson reliably.
