CDL-A Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, 50% of Gross Revenue

Run regional intermodal container freight out of Matteson, IL and get home every day. This is a 1099 owner-operator-style position with a dedicated truck, Monday through Friday, plus the option to pick up extra weekend work locally in the Chicago area.

Pay

• You keep 50% of the truck's gross revenue, and you cover 50% of the fuel cost

• Expected take-home runs about $1,350-$1,650 a week, with a posted pay range of $1,300.00-$1,650.00 per week

• Picking up optional weekend work in the Chicago area can boost your earnings further

• Orientation and the road evaluation are paid

Schedule and routes

• Regional lanes, Monday through Friday, no over-the-road trips

• You're back home every night

• Weekend work is available locally in Chicago but entirely optional

• Freight is steady and consistent

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience

• At least 2 years working with intermodal or container freight

• Clean driving record, and you'll need to meet the carrier's and insurer's standards

• Reliable, on time, and comfortable working without close supervision

• Based near Chicago, the south suburbs, or close enough to get to the truck in Matteson, IL

• Regional driving background is a plus

• Expected to keep the assigned equipment in good condition
