CDL-A Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Driver — Commission, $80K–$150K+ Potential

Our company in Mount Prospect, IL needs a CDL-A heavy-duty tow truck driver for commercial towing, recovery and roadside calls. This role pays based on how much work you complete, not a guaranteed hourly rate, so it suits someone who wants to stay busy and take every call rather than wait around.

Pay

Schedule

What you'll do

• Handle heavy-duty towing, recovery and roadside assistance

• React quickly to breakdowns, accidents and emergency situations

• Run wreckers and recovery gear safely

• Stay in close contact with dispatch and customers throughout each job

• Wrap up every call with full documentation and photos

Requirements

• Current CDL-A

• Clean driving history

• Able to pass a DOT drug test

• Available for nights, weekends and on-call shifts

• Willing to work outdoors in any weather

• Dependable and quick to respond when dispatched

Helpful experience

• Background in heavy-duty towing or recovery work

• Mechanical or diesel repair knowledge

• Hands-on experience with winching, shifting loads or accident recovery
