CDL-A Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Driver — Commission, $80K–$150K+ Potential

Our company in Arlington Heights, IL is looking for a CDL-A heavy-duty tow truck driver to handle commercial vehicle towing, recovery and roadside calls. Pay is commission-based, so your earnings depend on how many jobs you run, not the clock.

Pay

• Commission-based pay with earning potential of $80K-$150K+

• No cap on how much you can earn

• More completed jobs means more money, and call volume is steady

Schedule

• On-call rotation that includes nights and weekends

• Expect frequent calls and the need to respond fast

• This is active, hands-on recovery work, not a wait-around hourly role

What you'll do

• Handle heavy-duty towing, recovery and roadside assistance

• Get to breakdowns, accidents and emergency scenes quickly

• Run wreckers and recovery gear safely

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers throughout each job

• Finish every job with full documentation and photos

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• Clean driving history

• Able to pass a DOT drug test

• Available for nights, weekends and on-call shifts

• Willing to work outdoors in any weather

• Dependable and quick to respond when dispatched

Helpful experience

• Background in heavy-duty towing or recovery

• Mechanical or diesel knowledge

• Experience with winching, shifting loads or accident recovery work
