CDL-A Hazmat Shuttle Driver — Home Weekends, Lawtey FL to Patterson GA

Run a dedicated shuttle route hauling side-dump loads between Lawtey, Florida and Patterson, Georgia. This full-time, Monday through Friday position keeps you on a consistent weekday schedule with weekends off, and you can base yourself anywhere along the corridor, including near either terminal or in the Jacksonville area.

The route

• Dedicated shuttle between Lawtey, FL and Patterson, GA

• About 7 loads a week, roughly 1.5 round trips per day

• Sleeper tractor pulling a side-dump trailer

• Consistent 7:30 AM start time

Schedule and home time

• Monday through Friday work week

• Plan to stay in the truck most weeknights

• Home every weekend after Friday's shift

What you'll do

• Drive the assigned route safely in a Class A vehicle

• Handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment problems

• Keep electronic logs and paperwork current

• Stay in touch with dispatch on load status and any delays

• Follow DOT rules, hours-of-service limits, and hazmat transport regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Hazmat endorsement required

• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience

• Clean motor vehicle record and good safety history

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Able to stay in the truck overnight on weeknights as needed
