CDL-A Hazmat Route Driver — Home Daily

Our company needs a CDL-A driver in Knoxville, TN to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods on set routes, working Monday through Friday with a 6 am start and home every night.

What you'll do

• Drive a Class B Hazmat-rated vehicle to move compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods to customers on your route

• Pick up empty cylinders from customers and handle their questions so they're taken care of

• Load and unload all materials yourself

• Fill out paperwork for every stop and get customer signatures

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip, logging any problems and keeping it in good shape

• Represent the company professionally and look the part on every delivery

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Class A CDL

• Hazmat endorsement, or able to get one within 60 days of starting

• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 5 years

• Must pass our company's background check and motor vehicle record review

• DOT Clearinghouse check from past employers

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly, and occasionally 76-100+ lbs

• Comfortable working outside in all weather

• Able to pass drug screening and follow safety rules

Nice to have: a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, or experience with touch freight.
