About this job
Our company is looking for Class A CDL drivers in Grand Rapids, Michigan to run auto parts in dry van trailers. You'll be home every day, working overnight multi-stop and shuttle routes on a steady 5-day schedule.
Pay
- Averages $85,000 per year
- $0.739 per mile plus $25 per stop
- Weekly paychecks
- $5,000 sign-on bonus, first payment arrives after 30 days on the job
Home time and schedule
- Home every day
- Overnight runs, typically starting around 6 PM
- 5 days on, 2 consecutive days off
- Options include Sunday-Thursday, Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday, Thursday-Saturday, or split schedules
- Shifts generally run 8 to 12 hours, averaging about 45 hours a week
What you'll haul
- Auto parts in dry van trailers
- Multi-stop and shuttle routes
- Newer automatic Freightliner day cabs
- Unloading at stops with a lift gate and electric pallet jack
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A driving experience
- No SAP drivers
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card
- Must be able to work weekends
- Dependable and safety-minded
