CDL-A Fuel Tanker Driver — Home Daily, Night Shift

Our company is hiring local CDL-A fuel tank drivers in Knoxville, TN to deliver petroleum products to customers around the area. You'll run a night shift schedule and be home daily.

Schedule

• 5 days on, 2 weekdays off

• Night shift

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $1,600.00 per week

• Weekly pay

• Detention, breakdown, sleeper and multi-stop pay

• Night and weekend pay differential

• Quarterly safety bonus and experience pay after six months

What you'll haul

You'll pick up petroleum products from the rack and deliver them safely and on time to customer stores and facilities near Knoxville, following DOT rules and Eagle's safety procedures. You'll also complete equipment and delivery paperwork and coordinate with dispatch to keep routes running smoothly.

Requirements

• Minimum age 23

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements (N and H, or combination X), and ability to operate a vehicle with air brakes

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 7 years, or graduation from an Eagle-approved driving school within that time meeting GPA standards (certificate and transcript may be requested)

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, or 4 in the last 7 years

• No DUI/DWI/OUI in the past 10 years (at most 1 in the past 20 years)

• No chargeable DOT-recordable accidents (fatality, hospital-transport injury, or tow-away) in the past 3 years; accident report may be requested

• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card if later required (not needed at hire)

• Able to read and speak English per FMCSR 391.11(b)(2)
