About this job
Our company is hiring experienced CDL-A tank drivers for a local fuel-hauling role based in Knoxville, TN. You'll run night shifts delivering petroleum products to customers around the area and be home every day.
Pay
Average annual pay based on experience is $93,320.00. Pay also includes detention, breakdown, sleeper, and multi-stop pay, plus a night and weekend pay differential. Experience pay kicks in after six months, and there's a quarterly safety bonus on top.
Schedule
You'll work 5 days on with 2 weekdays off, running the night shift. Routes are local, so you're home daily.
What you'll haul
You'll pick up petroleum products from the rack and deliver them safely to customer stores and facilities in the Knoxville area, keeping every delivery on time and accurate. The job also involves completing equipment and delivery paperwork and coordinating with dispatch to keep routes running smoothly.
Requirements
- At least 23 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements (N and H, or combined X), and air brake qualified
- One year of Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 7 years, or a recent graduate of an Eagle-approved driving school meeting Eagle's GPA standards (certificate and transcript may be requested)
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, or 4 in the last 7 years
- No DUI/DWI/OUI in the last 10 years (max one in the last 20 years)
- No chargeable DOT-recordable accidents (fatality, hospital-transport injury, or tow-away) in the last 3 years while driving commercially
- Willing to obtain a TWIC card if later required (not needed at hire)
- Able to read and speak English per FMCSA rule 391.11(b)(2)
