CDL-A Flex Truck Driver — Average $120,000/Year, Up to 100% Travel

Penske Logistics needs full-time CDL-A drivers for a flex regional role, making multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You'll travel to assigned locations and work from there for the length of each assignment, so expect up to 100 percent travel.

Pay

• Drivers average $120,000 a year

• Extra performance incentives can add up to $10,400 a year

• Referring a driver can earn you up to $5,000 per referral

• Paid every Friday

What you'll haul

• Multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships

• Unloading with manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages

• Scanning items as you unload and deliver them

Schedule

• Dispatch times shift depending on the assignment

• You travel to your assigned work location and stay there for the duration of that assignment

Equipment

• Late-model trucks maintained by Penske

• Designed for driver comfort and safety

• Inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for added safety

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, and you must live in the U.S. and be licensed in your state of residence

• Current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• English language proficiency, as required under federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Must be able to work the assigned schedule and location, complete Penske's application, and pass a background check and drug screening

• This is a safety-sensitive, DOT-regulated role requiring constant alertness and accountability for your own safety and others'

• Able to see and hear clearly, including close, distance, and peripheral vision and depth perception

• Able to stand, walk, sit, and move frequently; use your hands to reach, handle, and feel; lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg regularly and up to 100 lbs/45 kg occasionally

• Able to safely get in and out of the cab and rear cargo area
