CDL-A Flex Driver (OTR/Local) — $2,000+/WK Guaranteed

This flexible CDL-A driving job in Norfolk, VA covers both OTR and local routes, filling in wherever coverage is needed, including solo and team runs. You'll haul aerospace materials in a sleeper tractor with a 53' dry van, moving freight between company facilities and outside vendors.

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum of $2,000 per week, with the chance to earn more

What you'll haul

• Aerospace materials, moved between facilities and outside vendors

• Equipment: sleeper tractor pulling a 53' dry van

• Some touch freight involved - you'll help load and unload using an electric pallet jack when needed

Routes and schedule

• Mix of OTR and local vendor/facility runs depending on operational needs

• Possible OTR destinations include Morristown, TN, Dover, NJ, La Porte, IN, and Cleveland, OH

• You'll need a flexible schedule and willingness to switch between routes, including covering for other drivers' call-offs and vacations

• Comfortable running solo or as part of a team

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience

• Minimum age 21

• Able and willing to handle touch freight with an electric pallet jack

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check

• No DUIs or DWIs in the past 5 years, and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months
