About this job
Our company is hiring a Truck Driver for its Warren, OH facility to haul large industrial equipment using a flat-bed truck. Outside of driving duties, you'll also help with mechanical assembly work in the department.
What you'll do
- Drive a flat-bed truck to move large industrial equipment between locations
- Handle rigging and load/unload the truck yourself
- Fill out shipping paperwork as needed
- Complete required daily vehicle inspections under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules
- Keep logbooks and other records current to stay DOT compliant
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks when you're not out driving
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL valid in your state of residence
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must meet minimum eligibility requirements
