CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver — $88,000–$101,000/yr, Home Most Weekends

Our company needs experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional and OTR runs. You'll haul specialized flatbed freight with steady miles and get home most weekends.

Pay

• Annual earnings range from $88,000 to $101,000 depending on experience

• Weekly average of $1,625 to $1,845

• Starting rate of $.63 to $.675 CPM for regional and OTR runs

• Weekly guaranteed pay

• $1,100 Pre-Employment Evaluation (PRE) pay, recently increased

• $1,100 paid for Flatbed Business Unit Training, with travel, lodging, breakfast and lunch covered

• Performance bonuses available

• Sign-on bonus of $3,000 to $5,000 for qualified experienced drivers, for a limited time - ask a recruiter for the full details

• Extra pay for tarping, detention and layover time

• Referral bonuses: $1,000 to $2,000 for CDL-A referrals, $500 for non-CDL referrals

Home time

• Home most weekends

• Consistent, year-round freight for predictable schedules and paychecks

• Dispatch accounts for weather, loading delays and the extra time flatbed work takes

What you'll haul

• Specialized flatbed freight, averaging 2,000 to 2,300 miles per week

• Late-model trucks equipped with chains, straps, binders and tarps

• Equipped with collision mitigation, active braking, Stoneridge MirrorEye technology, tire pressure monitoring and a driver portal app

Requirements

• At least 6 months of CDL-A flatbed, glass or marine over-the-road experience (new CDL-A holders also welcome to apply)

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• Must live within Maverick's designated hiring areas

• Must meet all other eligibility requirements - ask a recruiter for specifics

• Open to drivers from any background, including food service, military, medical, warehouse, towing, oil field, IT, farming and construction
