About this job
Our company, an equipment rental company, is hiring a Class A CDL driver to deliver and pick up equipment at customer job sites around Tampa, FL.
Pay
- $27.07 - $40.59 an hour, with the exact starting rate depending on position, location, education, training and experience.
What you'll haul
- Equipment, tools and supplies on flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailers
- Driving in urban, suburban, rural and tight construction-zone settings
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a CDL and an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience with similar commercial equipment, including flatbed, RGN/lowboy and dovetail trailers, preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicles at job sites
- Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50+ pounds, indoors and outdoors
