About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to move equipment to and from customer job sites in Elkridge, MD. You'll handle flatbed (dovetail) and RGN (lowboy) trailers across city, suburban and rural routes, including tight construction zones.
Pay
- $29.77 to $44.66 per hour, with the exact starting rate depending on things like position, location, education, training and experience
What you'll haul
- Equipment, tools and supplies delivered to and picked up from customer worksites
- Loads carried on flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailers
- Driving in a mix of urban, suburban, rural and tight job-site settings
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience with similar commercial equipment, and with flatbed, RGN/lowboy or dovetail trailers, preferred
- Comfortable doing basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment and vehicles at job sites
- Good customer service skills
- Able to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 50 pounds or more, indoors or outdoors as needed
