CDL-A Flatbed Driver — $30/hr + Per Diem, Mid-Week Home Time

Ruan needs a Class A CDL driver near York, PA to run a dedicated flatbed account with early morning starts and regular mid-week home time.

Pay

• $30 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours

• $20 per diem for every night spent away from home

• Typical yearly earnings around $86,000

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional Sunday runs needed for Monday morning deliveries

• 2-3 layovers per week, with home time falling mid-week

• Start times run early, usually between 2 and 5 a.m.

What you'll haul

• Sleeper cab tractor pulling a flatbed trailer fitted with a Conestoga kit and Moffett forklift

• You'll roll back the Conestoga cover and unload freight using the Moffett

• At least nine months of flatbed hauling experience needed

Requirements

• Age 22 or older

• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some exceptions may apply)

• No more than one preventable DOT-recordable accident in the last three years

• Nine months of tractor-trailer experience in the past three years

• Must register with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before being hired
