About this job
This flatbed role out of Carol Stream, IL runs a dedicated route Monday through Friday with no weekend work, though you'll be out overnight three nights a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). You'll operate a sleeper cab tractor pulling a 48' Conestoga trailer.
Pay
- Paid $0.79 per mile plus stop pay
- Weekly gross averages around $1,600
- Detention pay included
- Quarterly safety bonus up to $500, up to $2,000 per year
Home time
- Home most nights, out overnight only three times a week
- Weekends off
What you'll haul
- Flatbed/Conestoga freight on a dedicated route
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- At least 12 months of recent driving experience in similar equipment
- Prior flatbed experience needed
- Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical and have a clean driving record
- Able to lift, bend, push and pull as needed
