About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A truck driver to haul flatbed and van trailer loads, delivering goods safely and on schedule.
What you'll do
- Drive in compliance with local, state, and federal rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel, and deliveries
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers about schedules and delays
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery times
- Keep the truck clean inside and out
Requirements
- Valid CDL
- Prior experience driving a truck
- Comfortable hauling flatbeds and van trailers
- Good route-driving skills and familiarity with navigation systems
- Solid grasp of safety rules for driving and handling cargo
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
