About this job
Our company is hiring a Farm Truck Driver in Dwight, IL to haul agronomy products, equipment, and supplies on over-the-road routes. You'll drive tractor-trailers, tandem trucks, tankers, or other specialized trucks, including hazardous materials loads when needed.
Pay
- $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Expect at least 40 hours per week
What you'll haul
- Agronomy products, farm equipment, and supplies
- Hazardous materials when required
- Loads secured and handled manually per safety standards
Responsibilities
- Navigate routes using GPS for timely OTR deliveries
- Load and unload freight
- Keep accurate delivery, hours-of-service, and inspection records
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Help with general operations and labor tasks as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL A with endorsements
- Proven commercial truck driving or freight transport experience
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks
- Experience with GPS navigation
