About this job
Our company is looking for extra board drivers to support a Walgreens private fleet operation out of Mount Vernon, IL. You'll run delivery, relay, and team routes as needed, with pay increases built in over your first two years.
Pay
- Starting rate of $29.25/hour or $0.595/mile
- Wage range runs from $29.25 to $31.25 per hour
- Your pay rate goes up at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months on the job
- Guaranteed minimum weekly pay equal to 40 times your hourly rate
- Referral bonus of $1.5K-$2.5K for a limited time
Home time
Good home time is part of this role.
What you'll haul
Expect a mix of delivery, relay, and team route work. You'll need to be able to unload tailgated freight using a conveyor roller system.
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Either 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer experience, or a certificate from an accredited CDL school plus 6 months of driving experience
- CDL Doubles endorsement
- Able to meet all DOT requirements
- Willing and able to handle peddle, relay, and team routes as the job requires
