Our company in Chapmanville, WV needs a CDL-A driver to haul aggregate and equipment using dump trucks, tractor-lowboys and tractor-trailers on assigned routes.
Pay
- $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Aggregate and equipment, moved securely between job sites
- You'll run tractor-trailers (dump), tractor-lowboys and 10-wheel dump trucks depending on the job
What you'll do
- Load and unload aggregate and equipment
- Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on the vehicle to stay safe and compliant
- Stay on assigned routes, follow traffic laws and company rules to deliver on time
- Keep trip logs, reports and delivery paperwork accurate
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers to line up pickup and delivery times
Requirements
- Class A CDL with endorsements matching the trucks you'll drive
- Dump truck experience, including route and delivery work
- Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks and different trailer setups
- Know how to load and unload aggregate and equipment safely
- Understand safety practices for large vehicles and securing loads
- Experience with tractor-trailers, tractor-lowboys and dump trucks preferred
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing
