CDL-A Driver Trainee — Home Daily, $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company in Sioux Falls, SD is looking for a CDL-A driver trainee to learn tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery work, hauling food and related products to local customers on a Monday–Friday schedule with early morning starts. Most days you'll be home, though some routes include layovers with hotel stay and per diem covered.

Pay

Drivers average $80,000 a year, with top performers bringing in more than $100,000 annually. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available (restrictions apply — not open to anyone who worked for a Performance Food Group company in the past 6 months).

Home time

You'll typically return home each day, with occasional overnight layovers covered by hotel accommodations and per diem pay.

What you'll haul

Food and food-related products delivered on local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes, using a tractor-trailer or straight truck.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of commercial driving background

• Minimum age 21

• High school diploma or GED

• Clean driving record for the last 3 years

• Current DOT health card (or ability to obtain one)

• Pass a post-offer drug screening and road test

• Comfortable manually lifting and moving cases weighing roughly 60 to 90 pounds
