CDL-A Driver — No Experience Needed, Home 3+ Nights/Week

Dedicated CDL-A driving job based out of the Washington DC and Upper Marlboro, MD area. Works for both new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers, running consistent round-trip lanes with regular time at home.

Pay

• $0.70 to $0.74 per mile

• $25.00 for each stop you make

• Typical weekly earnings range from $1,400 to $1,600

• You get paid for every mile and every stop

Schedule and home time

• Full-time, day shift work

• 5 or 6 days on the road per week

• At least 3 nights home weekly, with weekends free

• Weekend driving is optional, not required

• No holiday runs at this time

What you'll haul

• Round-trip lanes serving the Washington DC and Upper Marlboro, MD region

Requirements

• CDL-A license

• At least 21 years old

• Clean driving history

• Able to pass a DOT physical and a pre-employment drug test (including a hair test)

• No endorsements needed

• Open to trainees and first-seat drivers alike

Getting started

• Paid orientation to kick things off

• New drivers ride along with an experienced team member for hands-on guidance

• Experienced drivers get a fast, easy transition onto their lanes

On the job

• Drive your CDL-A truck safely along assigned routes

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep your ELD logs accurate and up to date

• Stay within DOT rules and company safety standards

• Keep dispatch updated on your progress
