About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver in Lenoir, NC for local routes that get you home every day. This is a 2nd shift, Monday through Friday position running tractor and 53 ft trailer loads on and off site.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm
- Local routes with daily home time
Pay
- Starting at $29.50 per hour
- Overtime pay available after 40 hours worked in a week
- $3000 referral bonus program
What you'll haul
- Tractor and 53 ft trailer, driven both around the site and on public roads
- This is a touch freight role
What the job involves
- Safe, on-time deliveries for customers
- Following all safety rules and procedures
- Completing routine vehicle inspections
- Staying in contact with dispatch throughout your shift
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- At least 18 years old
- 6 months of CDL experience operating similar or larger equipment within the past 3 years
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with multiple trailer types (tanks, vans, flatbeds) is a plus
