CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $28.75/hr

GXO is hiring a CDL-A driver for port container runs in the North Chesterfield, VA area. You'll work 1st shift, Monday through Friday, and be home every day.

Pay

• Starts at $28.75 per hour

• Overtime pay kicks in after 40 hours worked in a week

Schedule

• 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 4:30 am to 1:00 pm

• Overtime possible depending on traffic and port congestion

What you'll haul

• Day cab tractor pulling loaded and empty 20-foot and 40-foot chassis containers

• Drop and hook freight

• Routes move containers between ports including Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Richmond

What the job involves

• Operating safely and following all company safety rules

• Checking your equipment before and during runs

• Staying in touch with dispatch throughout the day

Requirements

• Valid CDL with at least 6 months operating similar or larger equipment within the last 3 years

• Minimum age 21

• Clean, safe driving history

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Experience with multiple trailer types (tanks, vans, flatbeds) is a plus
