CDL-A Driver for Amazon Freight — Home Every Other Day, $50,000–$62,000/yr

Meridian Freight Solutions is hiring a CDL-A driver to run dedicated Amazon freight out of the local yard, with a 2-days-on, 2-days-off schedule that gets you home regularly.

Pay

• $50,000-$62,000 per year

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Home time

• 2 days on, 2 days off, with 4 straight days off after each work stretch

• 14-hour shifts: drive up to 11 hours, take a 10-hour reset, then drive up to 11 hours back to the home yard

• Schedule is planned a week out, and both day and night shifts are available

What you'll haul

• Dedicated Amazon-branded tractors pulling 53' dry van trailers and intermodal containers

• Drop and hook only, fully no-touch (no scanning, tarping, or strapping)

• No doubles, triples, or hazmat loads

Equipment

• New diesel sleeper cabs with automatic transmissions

• Netradyne safety camera systems

• 24/7 dispatch and roadside support

Requirements

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old

• Clean driving record, valid DOT medical card, and acceptable DAC/PSP history

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• Comfortable using a smartphone and handheld technology on the job
