CDL-A Driver — Avg $90K–$100K/Year, 1 Night Out/Week

Our company is hiring Class A drivers for its Taylor, MI terminal. This role mixes local and regional runs, with hands-on work using pneumatic trailers, and pays well above average for the industry.

Pay

• Drivers at this location typically earn between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, with top performers bringing in over $115,000 annually

• New hires at the Taylor terminal get a $5,000 bonus

• Expect a blend of local and regional routes

• Drivers average about one overnight away per week

What you'll haul

• This job involves more physical work than typical trucking roles - around a third of your time is spent loading and unloading with pneumatic equipment and working directly with customers

• No prior experience with pneumatic systems is necessary - full training is provided on both safety procedures and equipment operation

Requirements

• Minimum age 23

• Valid Class A CDL with at least one year of tractor-trailer experience

• Experience should fall within the last 10 years, ideally the last 5

• Must meet FMCSA physical and medical qualification standards, including a current medical certificate

• Cannot be disqualified from operating a commercial vehicle under FMCSA rules

• Must hold a Class A CDL valid in your state of residence, or be able to obtain one within 30 days if you've recently relocated

• Clean or otherwise acceptable driving record required

• Must be able to safely operate and inspect equipment
