CDL-A Driveaway Truck Driver — $2,000–$2,200/Week

Our company needs CDL-A company drivers in Rocky Mount, NC to move brand-new Freightliner trucks from the factory to dealers and fleet buyers nationwide. There's no trailer and no freight involved, you simply drive the new truck to its destination, then fly home to the terminal to start your next trip. Nights are spent in hotels, not in a sleeper or at a truck stop.

Pay

• $2,000 to $2,200 weekly

• Orientation and training are both paid

Home time

• Runs typically keep you on the road for 2 to 3 weeks before you head back

• Flights between the terminal and your next assignment are covered by the company

What you'll haul

• You deliver new Freightliner trucks one at a time, driving them solo with no trailer, no live loading, and no waiting at docks

• Background in flatbed, step deck, heavy haul, open deck, auto hauling, or standard OTR work translates well here

Requirements

• Current CDL A

• A minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience that can be verified, within the past 3 years

• Comfortable operating a manual transmission

• Able to commit to stretches of 2 to 3 weeks away from home

• Having a Doubles/Triples endorsement is a plus
