CDL-A Doubles Truck Driver — $28–$30/hr

Our company, a pear packing company in Cashmere, Washington, needs a CDL-A driver to haul packed fruit and other materials between facilities using refrigerated trailers and flatbed doubles. You'll handle deliveries, cross-dock stops, and mountain pass driving in all kinds of weather.

Pay

• $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule

• Core hours are Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Days and hours can shift based on production needs, and overtime may be required at times

What you'll haul

• Packed fruit and other materials moved between Blue Star facilities

• Refrigerated trailers and flatbed doubles

• Load securement work, including strapping down flatbed loads

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with doubles endorsement

• At least 2 years of experience driving a CDL vehicle

• Hands-on experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed doubles, load securing, and winter mountain driving (this role does not include entry-level driver training)

• Able to install tire chains and physically handle strapping tasks

• Able to read, write, and communicate in English

• Must pass a DOT pre-employment screening

• This is a safety-sensitive role: pre-employment drug testing is required, along with random and as-needed testing afterward

On the job, you'll coordinate deliveries and cross-docking with your supervisor, inspect your vehicle, keep up with paperwork and driving logs, report any mechanical problems or incidents right away, and keep the truck fueled and clean while following traffic and trucking rules.
