About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in West Chester, OH to run local food and beverage delivery routes. You'll be home every day on a four-day week, with pay and benefits starting right away.
Pay
- Starting rate of $37.28 per hour, rising to $39.68 after your 90-day probation period if you hit 90% or better on-time delivery and 90% or better route-plan performance
- Annual raises after that
- Paid every week
- Overtime available; top earners bring in over $125K a year, and once at top pay most drivers average over $105K annually on the four-day schedule
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, four days on with one on-call day
- Dispatch time is between 3:00 AM and 5:30 AM
- Shifts run 10+ hours, until your deliveries are done
- Home daily
What you'll haul
This is 100% touch freight. You'll deliver food products on city and highway routes, backing into tight docks and unloading by hand, ramp, or two-wheeler into designated storage areas.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A from your state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food/beverage delivery
- Able to read and communicate in English well enough to understand road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports
- Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations
- Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-mandated database tracking CDL holders' drug and alcohol violations
- Comfortable lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly per shift, working outdoors in all weather with frequent stops, and handling temperatures as low as 0 degrees

- Drive safely and deliver on time
- Unload product and confirm deliveries with customer signatures
- Provide professional, courteous service
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Handle collections or payments when needed
