CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver — $40.00/hr

Drive a tractor trailer for Frito-Lay, hauling snack brands like Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos to grocery stores and other locations around Denver, CO. This full-time role pays $40.00 per hour and includes hands-on and classroom training to get you started.

Schedule

• Hours vary, including holidays and weekends

• Shifts can run up to 14 hours, with up to 11 hours of actual driving time

• You may need to sit for up to 5 hours a day

What you'll haul

• Chips, dips and other snack products delivered to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay plants, rural storage sites and other transport hubs

What you'll do

• Operate a tractor trailer safely and in line with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Load and unload freight by hand, with a two-wheeler, or using palletized methods, including lifting product overhead

• Get receipt signatures, handle returns, fill out delivery paperwork, and check invoices and manifests

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log your activity on a tablet or onboard computer

• Stay in touch with customers, sales drivers and dispatch during your shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license

• 100,000 or more verifiable accident-free miles, or more than 2,500 accident-free hours

• Able to work holidays and weekends

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull and handle loads of 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Able to stand, walk and move product for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
