CDL-A Delivery Driver — Overnight 3rd Shift

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to handle multi-stop deliveries across a 6-state region, with regular hands-on unloading at each stop.

Schedule

• Works 3rd shift, 1am to 11am

• Routes cover PA, MD, DE, VA, NJ and NY

• May require staying overnight when needed

What you'll do

• Complete a DOT-certified pre-trip inspection before heading out

• Deliver freight to several stops, keeping to the scheduled times

• Pull the correct products from the trailer or straight truck for each stop

• Carry unloaded products to the right spot inside each delivery location

• Load empty milk crates back onto the truck to return to the dairy warehouse

• Move full and empty milk crates (stacked up to 6 high) using a hand truck or milk hook, pushing or pulling them from the truck gate to the delivery area

• Finish with a DOT-certified post-trip inspection and check in with Dispatch at shift's end

• Deliver strong customer service at every stop

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, meeting all DOT and company driving standards

• At least 3 years of commercial road driving experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Familiarity with onboard computer systems like Xata is a plus

• Working knowledge of OSHA rules

• Able to repeatedly pull 250 pounds and lift as much as 70 pounds

• Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach in all directions, bend, squat, kneel, push and grasp firmly throughout the shift

• Able to maneuver loads through doorways, stairs and tight aisles at delivery sites
