CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $8k Sign-On Bonus

Our company in Tacoma, WA needs a CDL-A delivery driver to run local food and food-service routes. You'll be home every day, working Monday through Friday on day shift, with dispatch starting between 1:30AM and 3:30AM.

Pay

• Potential earnings up to $100K

• $8k sign-on bonus, paid out in increments over 18 months

Home time

• Home daily, Monday through Friday

What you'll haul

• Food and food-related products for intrastate and interstate customers, running local, OTR, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes in a tractor trailer or straight truck

What you'll do

• Handle pre- and post-trip inspections on your tractor and trailer to meet DOT and company safety standards, and flag any issues that need repair

• Check loaded freight is secure, verify item counts against invoices, and keep accurate, legible paperwork

• Hook up preloaded trailers, drive your assigned delivery schedule, and unload products into customer storage areas

• Check for damaged goods, get customer signatures on deliveries, and collect cash or checks when needed

• Load customer returns and damaged items back onto the trailer and secure it for transport

• Log your hours of service daily per DOT and company rules, and keep your truck and dock area clean

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A and at least 21 years old

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• 12 months of tractor trailer driving experience

• Clean MVR for the past 3 years

• Current DOT health card, or able to get one

• Able to pass a post-offer drug screen, background check, and road test

• Comfortable hand-lifting and using a two-wheeler or lift gate to move cases generally weighing 10-35 pounds, and sometimes up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
