CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $80,000–$95,000/Year Guaranteed

Our company in Elsmere, KY is looking for a CDL-A driver to deliver product to Chick-fil-A restaurants using new equipment and a home-daily schedule.

Schedule

• You'll work Sunday through Friday, starting between 6pm and 10pm (or until the work's done), with Saturdays off.

• Expect to work 40 to 45+ hours per week depending on available routes.

• Some flexibility is required around weekends, holidays and rotating shifts based on business needs.

• About 5% travel for operator/market visits, supplier visits and related conferences.

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum pay for 40 hours, totaling $80,000 to $95,000 per year depending on your driving experience.

• Time worked beyond 40 hours per week is paid at overtime rates.

What you'll haul

• You'll deliver to 4-6 Chick-fil-A restaurants per shift, unloading and staging product within each restaurant's delivery window.

• You'll handle pickups and returns (pallets, carts, etc.) and submit the related paperwork.

• Back at the distribution center, you'll help unload the truck and put equipment away.

• You'll drive a new automatic Kenworth T680 with leather air-ride seats, GPS, and side/rear cameras, pulling a 48-inch Great Dane trailer with electric side lift gates. Battery-powered pallet jacks and Samsara mobile devices (showing where to park/unload, plus in-cab ELD charging) support the job, and an in-house maintenance team keeps the trucks running.

Requirements

• Class A CDL issued by your state of residence.

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.

• Minimum age 21.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Must live within 60 miles of the Elsmere, KY distribution center.

• Clean driving history: no preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 3 years, no more than 2 violations of the same type (max 3 total) in the past 3 years, and no DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.

• Must pass a DOT Clearinghouse application, MVR and medical card checks, a drug screen and a background check, and meet all FMCSA requirements.

• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to follow instructions, complete paperwork, and interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts and signage.

• Physically able to lift up to 65 pounds repeatedly per shift, occasionally move loads up to 2,000 pounds with mechanical help, and work in temperatures ranging from -10F to 100F, mostly at night.

• Prior food-service or key-drop delivery experience is a plus, along with strong customer service and teamwork skills.
