About this job
Our company is hiring a full-time CDL-A driver to run deliveries from its Madison, MS distribution center to branches and customer locations on established routes, typically with 10–12 stops per trip. Trucks are pre-loaded by warehouse staff, and you'll be responsible for unloading at each stop.
What you'll haul
- Operate a tractor trailer or straight truck on preloaded, pre-planned delivery routes
- Unload product by hand, pallet jack, or forklift at each customer or branch stop
- Use a handheld scanner to track deliveries
Requirements
- Hold a Class A CDL or be in the process of getting one
- Have or be able to obtain a current Health Card and HazMat endorsement
- Meet the company's driving record standards
- Be willing to drive across state lines and follow DOT hours-of-service rules
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs
- Pass a DOT drug and alcohol screen, road test, and background check
- Prior driving or forklift experience is a plus
