CDL-A Delivery Driver — Average $100,000–$105,000/Year

SYGMA in Danville, IL is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver to haul food products from the warehouse to customer locations, running 2-4 routes per week on an evening dispatch, overnight schedule, Sunday through Friday.

Pay

• Drivers typically earn between $100,000 and $105,000 per year, with top earners reaching up to $150,000

• Pay is based on routes plus bonuses, so more driving means more earnings

Schedule and routes

• Overnight, evening-dispatch schedule covering Sunday through Friday

• Mix of team and solo routes

• Overtime, holiday and weekend work should be expected, along with varying start times

What you'll haul

• Food and restaurant products, including frozen, dry and refrigerated items, delivered using a 3-axle tractor with a 45-48 foot trailer

• Equipment is well-maintained and all automatic transmission

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with insurability required for hire and continued employment

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred, plus one year of tractor-trailer driving experience; truck driving school can substitute for the education requirement

• Comfortable handling hazardous materials and following DOT and food safety rules

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds by hand and move up to 250 pounds using a two-wheeled hand cart, including down ramps and into storage areas

• Willing to work in varying weather and some confined spaces, and to drive both day and night shifts
