CDL-A Delivery Driver — $26–$28/hr, Bilingual Spanish

Jimenez Mexican Food, a family-owned food producer in Perris, CA, is hiring a delivery driver to pick up cargo from its distribution center and deliver it to customers on a set route.

Pay

• $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Touch freight; you load and unload the vehicle yourself

• Deliveries run along a prearranged route from the distribution center to customers

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and follow all state and federal (DOT) regulations

• Follow maps and routes, adjusting for traffic or congestion

• Load and unload cargo, and keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean

• Perform basic vehicle upkeep such as checking oil and fuel

• Collect signatures, cash or checks from customers and issue receipts when needed

• Keep accurate logs of mileage, cargo and deliveries

Requirements

• Proven driving experience (training provided)

• Valid driver's license with a decent driving record

• Bilingual in Spanish

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Comfortable working nights, weekends or holidays if needed

• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and climb, bend or work in tight spaces

• Basic math and computer skills for logging inventory
