About this job
This delivery driver role covers regional routes of 500 to 1,500 miles, hauling raw materials to grocery stores, bakeries, mom-and-pop shops and distribution centers. You'll work weekday shifts starting between 3 and 4 am, with some local runs and a few overnight layovers each week (hotels provided), driving day cabs equipped with lift gates.
Pay
- Component pay runs $1,400 to $1,800 per week, equivalent to about $80,000-$90,000 annually
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, early morning starts
- Expect 2-3 layovers per week; overnight hotel stays provided
What you'll haul
- Raw materials delivered live to grocery stores, bakeries, mom-and-pop stores and distribution centers
- Unloading done with lift gates, electric pallet jacks and hand trucks
Requirements
- Commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- Prior truck driving experience
- Comfortable lifting 50-75 lbs on a regular basis
- Willing and able to layover 2-3 times weekly
