About this job
Haul freight for Walmart on a dedicated, no-touch account with C.R. England. This drop-and-hook lane features live loading and unloading, with steady miles and regular home time.
What you'll haul
- Dry van and reefer trailers, 53 feet, pulled by late-model automatic sleeper trucks
- Drop and hook, live load-unload, no-touch freight
- Routes cover Walmart locations in PA, DE, NY, NJ, WV, VA, NC and Washington DC (no runs into New York City or its boroughs)
- Drivers average 1,900 miles per week
Home time
You'll take a 34-hour reset, with the chance to be home 2 to 3 days each week.
Pay
Pay is cents per mile, plus stop pay. Paychecks come weekly.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Minimum of 3 months of recent CDL-A driving experience
- Not open to students, new graduates, or trainees
- Need your own way to get to and from work, since trucks stay parked at the distribution center
