About this job
Drive dedicated lanes within 150 miles of your home base and be back every day. This role is based out of Laurel, DE with Lew Thompson & Son Trucking.
Pay
- Paid $0.50 per mile plus $40 per load ($25 per load once you run more than 5 loads in a day)
- Guaranteed minimum of $1,300 per week for your first 8 weeks
- Typical weekly earnings range from $1,500 to $1,700
Home time
- You'll be home every day
- Routes stay within a 150 mile air radius of your home domicile
Equipment and support
- Trucks are late-model, with both automatic and manual transmission options
- Dispatch and on-call support available around the clock
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months of verifiable experience in the past year
- Clean work history and driving record
- Minimum age 22
