About this job
Our company Inc. is looking for CDL-A drivers to run a dedicated lane for Forward Air, with steady freight and a schedule built around getting you home often.
Pay
- $0.65 per mile, or $0.70 per mile if you hold a Hazmat endorsement
- Typical weekly earnings land between $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week based on the route's mileage
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Layover pay and a safety bonus are included
Home time
- You'll be home 4 days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
What you'll haul
- A dedicated back-and-forth run between Des Plaines, IL and Groveport, OH
- 3 round trips each week
- Freight is 100% no-touch, drop and hook
- Trucks are assigned and automatic transmission
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be based out of the Des Plaines, IL terminal
- Must pass Forward Air's own application and approval steps
