About this job
Our company needs a CDL-A driver in Hartford, CT to run dedicated dry van freight across the lower 48 in a newer Peterbilt. You'll be out during the week and back home every weekend for at least a 34 hour reset.
Pay
- Average weekly earnings of $1,500 to $1,800, made up of mileage pay plus available incentives
- Exact CPM and bonus details are discussed in your interview based on your experience
Home time
- Home every weekend for a minimum 34 hour reset
- Some flexibility in scheduling may be possible depending on your needs and freight availability
What you'll haul
- Dedicated dry van freight, running throughout the lower 48 states
- Expect longer runs and working on your own during the week, with a shorter break each weekend instead of a long OTR stretch away
Equipment
- 2021 or newer Peterbilt 579 tractors
- Trucks include driver comforts like APUs, inverters, and refrigerators
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of regional or OTR tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- Must meet DOT qualifications and maintain a strong safety record
