CDL-A Dedicated Day Driver — Home 3+ Nights a Week

This is a dedicated day-shift account running out of Upper Marlboro for drivers based near Prince George's County. Trailers are preloaded for day runs with live unloads, and you'll be home at least 3 nights a week with most weekends free. New CDL holders are welcome and will be trained.

Pay

• $0.70 to $0.74 per mile

• Roughly 1,600 miles a week

• Around $1,400 weekly take-home

• $25 pay for each stop

• Weekly pay by direct deposit, including during training

Home time

Expect day-shift hours with preloaded trailers and live unload stops. You'll be home 3 or more nights weekly and off most weekends, though some weeks run 6 days.

Getting started as a new driver

• A call first to go over your license and driving history together, so there are no surprises

• Orientation lasting up to 2 days, with your hotel paid for, bus fare reimbursed, and a $300 payment once you're hired

• One-on-one mentor training for 4 to 6 weeks, paid weekly

• After that, you'll handle the dedicated day routes solo

Requirements

• Class A CDL issued by your home state, age 21 or older

• Either a new CDL grad with 120+ hours of school, or 6 months of recent driving experience

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• No DUI or DWI within the past 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical along with a hair and urine drug test
