CDL-A Day Cab Driver — $28.50/hr, Local Hub Runs

Our company needs a day cab driver to haul freight between our company terminals out of the CMH hub in Groveport, OH. You'll run set routes, handle pre- and post-trip checks, and keep paperwork and electronic logs current.

Pay

• $28.50 per hour, which is the anticipated starting rate and may be adjusted based on market conditions and other factors; final pay is set with the selected candidate per applicable law.

Schedule

• Two shift options: Monday through Friday starting at 4am, or Monday through Friday starting at 11pm.

What you'll haul

• Freight moved between our company terminals using a day cab tractor.

• You'll confirm trailer, container, seal, and load details before each move.

What the job involves

• Inspect your vehicle before, during, and after trips, and log the results properly.

• Stay compliant with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and our company's own safety rules.

• Keep dispatch, operations, customers, and terminal staff updated on load status or delays.

• Report any equipment issues, accidents, or safety concerns right away.

• Keep your truck clean and professional, and follow site procedures at every yard, terminal, and customer location.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A.

• Current DOT medical card.

• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience preferred.

• Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT drug and background screening.

• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules and comfort using ELDs and transportation management systems.
