About this job
Our company Foods, an employee-owned company, is looking for CDL-A drivers to join its private fleet hauling mostly reefer loads (with some tanker work) across all 48 states and into Canada. Drivers based out of Danville, VA can expect flexible home time and a range of extra pay incentives on top of mileage pay.
Pay
- $0.50 to $0.57 per mile, depending on your experience and tenure
- Per diem pay plus pay for stops and layovers
- Quarterly performance bonuses
- Referral bonus for bringing in other transportation employees
Home time
- Home time is flexible and built around your schedule
What you'll haul
- Mostly refrigerated freight, with occasional tanker loads
- Routes cover all 48 states and Canada
- Open to driver teams
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 6 months to 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen
- Tanker endorsement not required but a plus
- Drivers legal to run into Canada are a plus
- No visa sponsorship available
