Drive a Ram 3500 Dually pulling a 3-car wedge trailer for a local car-hauling route. This is a full-time position paid hourly based on experience.
Pay
- Hourly pay, based on your experience level.
Home time
- Local route, so you're home regularly.
What you'll haul
- You'll run a late-model, well-equipped Ram 3500 Dually paired with a 3-car wedge trailer that loads smoothly.
- Freight is steady, so you won't be stuck waiting around for loads.
- The company supplies fuel cards and toll passes.
What you'll do
- Load, tie down with over-the-wheel straps and chains, haul and unload vehicles safely.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on both the truck and the wedge trailer.
- Keep your ELD logs accurate and stay compliant with FMCSA and DOT rules.
- Stay in touch with dispatch and customers at pickup and delivery points.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A.
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience; hauling cars on a wedge trailer is a strong plus.
- Clean driving record, with no recent major violations or preventable accidents.
- Physically able to climb on and off the trailer, secure vehicles and handle loading work outdoors in any weather.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for ELD logging and inspection apps.
- Must pass a DOT physical and a pre-employment drug test.
