CDL-A/B Propane Delivery Driver — $24.00/hr, Home Nightly

Our company needs a safety-focused CDL driver to deliver propane to homes, farms and businesses around Rock Island, IL. You'll run local routes and be home every night, with steady year-round work.

Pay

• Starting pay is $24.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.

Home time

• Routes are local, so you return home each night on a predictable schedule.

• You'll also take turns in an on-call rotation to handle emergency deliveries after hours or on weekends.

What you'll haul

• Propane deliveries to residential, commercial and industrial customers.

• You'll run company propane trucks and equipment under DOT and company safety rules, complete pre-trip inspections, keep delivery records accurate, and answer customer questions about their accounts, deliveries and propane safety.

Requirements

• Prior experience behind the wheel of a truck is a plus.

• You'll need a Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or be able to get them quickly.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Your driving record needs to be clean.

• You must be able to lift as much as 60 pounds in any weather.

• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized) and our company will not sponsor an employment visa now or later.
