CDL-A/B Motorcoach Operator — $26–$33/hr, Passenger Endorsement

Our company is growing and looking for experienced, safety-minded CDL drivers to operate motorcoaches and other passenger vehicles out of Philadelphia, PA. You'll handle charters, university and athletic travel, shuttle runs, corporate trips and other assigned routes, serving as the face of the company for every passenger you transport.

Pay

• $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment type

What you'll do

• Drive motorcoaches, shuttle buses and other passenger vehicles for charters, events, university and athletic trips, and shuttle work

• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep vehicles safe, clean and compliant

• Help passengers board, handle luggage and answer questions with a courteous, professional manner

• Keep dispatch and operations informed on trip timing, routing, delays and any updates

• Log mileage, hours, fuel use, passenger counts and vehicle condition accurately

• Report any mechanical issues, safety concerns or incidents right away

• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable, and follow company standards for uniform, appearance and conduct

Requirements

• Valid CDL, Class A or Class B, with Passenger Endorsement

• Air Brake Endorsement preferred or required depending on the vehicle assigned

• Experience driving motorcoaches, buses, shuttles, school buses, paratransit vehicles or similar passenger transport

• Solid safety record and defensive-driving habits

• Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance

• Clear, respectful communication with passengers, clients, dispatchers and teammates

• Comfortable completing logs, inspection reports and trip paperwork, including electronic systems

• Working knowledge of DOT rules, vehicle inspections and passenger safety standards

• Available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnight and multi-day trips

• Dependable, punctual, mechanically aware and team-oriented

Experience that's a plus: motorcoach or charter driving, university/athletic/corporate/event transport, over-the-road or multi-day trips, school bus or transit work, and familiarity with ELD, GPS routing or dispatch software.
