CDL-A/B Dump Truck Driver — Home Daily — $26-28/hr

Our company needs a local dump truck driver around Metro Nashville. You'll be home every day, running tri-axle and quad-axle rigs, including newer automatic Peterbilt 567 trucks with a Cummins/Allison setup, on construction, quarry, asphalt, and sitework jobs.

Pay

• $26-28 per hour depending on experience

• Paid weekly

• Overtime possible when project workload calls for it

Home time

• Local Nashville / Middle Tennessee routes only

• Home every day

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, daytime hours

• Some Saturdays possible depending on the project

• Start times shift based on the jobsite, quarry, or customer

What you'll haul

• Rock, dirt, asphalt, millings, aggregate, and other construction materials

• Tri-axle or quad-axle dump trucks, newer Peterbilt equipment included

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep your cab clean and smoke-free

• Stay in touch with dispatch, customers, quarries, and site crews

• Handle timekeeping, dispatch, and inspections through basic phone apps

• Flag maintenance issues right away

• Follow DOT and jobsite/quarry safety rules

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B

• Current DOT medical card

• Dump truck, quarry, asphalt, sitework, or local construction hauling background preferred

• Dependable, on time, and professional

• Able to get in and out of the truck safely and handle regular driving duties

• Comfortable with simple phone apps for dispatch, timekeeping, and inspections

• Keep your assigned truck clean and smoke-free

Driving record

Your 3-year MVR needs to be clean: no DUI, reckless driving, license suspension, leaving an accident scene, major safety violations, or serious at-fault commercial accidents. Minor issues are looked at individually.
